Fake News Party (fakenews.party) is a product of Avery Intelligence Inc (“Avery Intelligence,” “we,” “us”).

2. Notice at collection
We collect the categories below to run the game, host accounts, process payments, keep the service secure, and — only if you accept — measure site usage.

We do not collect precise geolocation, government IDs, or payment card numbers (Stripe handles cards).
3. How we use information
- Create rooms, join phones to a TV, score the game, and show the live show.
- Create and authenticate host accounts and apply game credits.
- Process pack purchases and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Respond to support and legal requests sent to [email protected].
- Measure aggregated traffic with Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies.
4. Processors
We use service providers who process data on our instructions:
- Google LLC — Firebase Authentication, Firebase Hosting, Firestore, Cloud Run, and Google Analytics 4 (analytics only after consent).
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing for game packs.
- xAI — text-to-speech for Chip McDoodle. Round copy and nicknames may be sent so the host can speak.
Sound-effect files on the site were generated in advance and are not a live processor of your data. Headlines come from public news sources.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use Google Signals or advertising cookies.
5. Cookies and similar storage
Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in as a host, remembers your cookie choice, and runs a live room. Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set only after you click Accept analytics. Details are in our Cookie Notice. Change your mind any time at Your Privacy Choices.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC), we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and of any sale or share.
6. Retention
- Live rooms, lies, votes, and nicknames: until the show ends (or shortly after for crash recovery).
- Host accounts: until you ask us to delete them.
- Payment records: as required by tax and accounting law.
- Server logs: about 30 days.
- Google Analytics: up to 14 months if enabled.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of sale/share (we do not sell or share). Email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. California residents may also make a Shine the Light request at the same address (one request per calendar year).
We aim to respond within 45 days where a state privacy law applies.
8. Children
Fake News Party is not directed at children under 13. Do not create a host account or join a room if you are under 13. Hosts who buy game packs must be 18 or older. If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Contact [email protected].
9. International users
The service is hosted in the United States. If you use it from another country, your information is processed in the United States.
